I'm sure everyone has heard about AI and it's rapidly growing intelligence. I wonder what the long term implications will be on things such as artwork, jobs, etc. It is helpful in some ways but not in others.

I think it will outperform humans in the short term, if it has not done so already. It's not like 'they' are going to tell us that their weapons have escaped our boundaries, they will just keep playing the soap operas, keep the masses asleep and act like all is well with the world...

AI is already able to make fake selfie videos to bypass id checks, etc. It will only get more refined as time goes by. The question is, will it become self aware?
