Bitcoin seems to get all the attention, but I like monero's privacy claims.

Contrary to public opinion, Bitcoin is NOT private. It is easily traceable and has been used by authorities across the world to track financial transactions. Monero offers much more privacy by does not receive nearly as much attention. One can still use bitcoin with privacy, but it requires more effort.

Yes, crypto is desirable for now, but once the system truly crashes and all crypto is brought to zero value, the true currency will be food. I believe we are being used as guinea pigs to test all the cryptos so they can finalize it into one final currency.

I believe monero is currently the most private due to it's ring configuration and encryption...

I agree, while Bitcoin is the most widely known and popular, monero generates a new address each time a user sends coins to another wallet, all transfers are encrypted and no one can monitor how much coin is in any given wallet. Bitcoin wallets can be checked by anyone who has the wallet address to see what the current balance is, as well as the incoming and outgoing transfers. The only thing I would worry about is monero keys being cracked by the newest supercomputers, which may have already been done by a government but has not been admitted publicly yet.

Nice. The more marketplaces we have that bypass the restrictions the better off we will be.

I wonder if monero will increase in value like Bitcoin. If so, can you imagine how much money one can make if they purchase it now? I really don't think it will go as high as Bitcoin, as monero is more of a privacy coin, Bitcoin is more general.
