What in the crap is the meaning of this? Got this today in an email:

Does any account functions seem to be affected? I have had this before when I used stripe as a payment processor and basically it was just them being nosy. It should be safe to ignore it unless you want to give them access to your bank account information. Have any large sales or chargebacks been posted to the account recently? Usually it appears when recent activity differs from the normal baseline.

No, everything still seems to work normally, just get that error at the top of the account page. Hopefully it just goes away

I got this today, the error doesnt seem to break anything on the page. However, I do notice that incoming payments are not added to my available balance for 2-3 business days now. I am being penalized because I will not give them access to my bank account history either.

How long have you used their service? Usually it is due to a change in activity, esp. chargebacks or sudden large sales as compared to normal

This same error appeared on my account also, it is still there in fact. I refused to allow stripe access to my bank account too and so far the message at the top of the page is the only problem on the account. I can still do instant payouts to my debit card, etc. I think any abnormal sales different than usual triggers their system and flags it for this bank request.

Perhaps it will eventually fall off?
