Be extra careful - there are many fake exchanges out there who will steal your coins

Isn't it illegal to use a crypto mixer / blender / tumbler website? I see lots of search results from law firms and others saying it is illegal, etc.

In the USA , everything is illegal. It is like a prison. However, the use of a crypto mixer website itself is not illegal. You are simply sending cryptocurrency to the website which mixes the currency with other users' coins, then sends them back to you. AFAIK there is no 'law' against sending coins to another entity then receiving them back. This is the whole idea of cryptocurrency - to transact with others. They always try to call it 'money laundering', while the US government is the largest money launderer there is. They try to threaten the world and throw tantrums when they don't get their way - but this is for another discussion....

Haven't heard of cryptomixer.is. I know a few of the largest ones were shut down. One guess which country was behind that. They want to be able to trace every move you make - privacy is only for themselves and the rest of the elites, not us.

Cryptomixer.is is not an exchange, it is a tumbler service. I have used it before when I needed to mix up some coin, but Ias far as exchanges go I AVOID any KYC companies, such as Coinbase, kraken, binance, etc. They are all owned and operated by the matrix. They are IRS front companies which rat on you at the drop of a hat. Here is what I use:

For crypto exchanges, I like to do this offline in person if at all possible. If not, I will use bisq or another anonymous, non KYC service.

For bitcoin tumbling, i have used cryptomixer.is and a few others (be careful, there are many lookalikes).

Here is my technique: obtain BTC with cash in person, or via mail with no KYC ---> cryptomixer.is ---> Convert to Monero ----> Send to new Monero account ----> wizardswap.io -------> convert back to BTC . All over VPN of course
